Today we are launching our new website, with its associated blog and forums. I hope you enjoy it. It’s been a lot of work, but this is only the first phase. I should now be able to offer not only more features, but also — and most important of all — more content.

Please feel free to use the contact form to report any dead links or features that may not be working as expected, as well as to submit your suggestions. Your feedback is more than welcome, and definitely helps a lot.

I would also like to encourage all of you to register to our forums and to participate as much as you can. I’d love to see us build a true community of worldwide Bible software users. The tools are there. It’s now up to you to make use of them.

Due Diligence Software has just released version 1.2 of their Workman’s Study Bible. For those familiar with it, some of the new features implemented in this version are the Bible browser, color highlighting, improved statistics, multiple language command line, and greatly expanded searches (punctuation, Strong’s numbers, proximity and wildcard searches are now possible).

If you don’t know much about this shareware program, you should have the opportunity of reading an interview with one of its developers, as well as a full review, shortly.

Christian Computing Magazine is conducting a Bible Software Survey. They want to know which Bible software packages are considered to be the best by their readers. Once the results are published (next month), upcoming issues of the magazine will feature reviews of the three most voted programs. Thus, the key question is “What is Your Favorite Bible Study Product and Version?”

I wonder if noboby told them that Bible Windows changed its name to Bibloi a long time ago…
