Are We a Bunch of Blog-addicts?

Mark Goodacre raises the question of whether or not blogging is "a kind of addiction." Other noted bibliobloggers seems to think it is (i.e., Jim Davila and Jim West). I believe it is potentially addictive. Speaking for myself, I feel guilty when I cannot blog regularly. I guess it's a matter of feeling accountable to the people that read me regularly. I'm pretty sure I started to blog for myself, but now that I know that, for some strange reason, others are interested in what I have to say, it makes me feel a bit overwhelmed at times. Blogging is currently both a pleasure and a burden. Make any sense?
